Minutes of Meeting - October 10, 2007
Harrison Friendly Riders

The meeting was called to order at 7:05 p.m. There were 15 members in attendance.

The Secretary's report was read and accepted (with one correction).

Correction to Last Month's Minutes

Family membership this year is $35. It was previously reported incorrectly as $30. I apologize for the error.

The Treasurer's report was read and accepted.
The Trail Master's report was read and accepted.

If anyone who would like to groom or help with trails maintenance contact Henry directly (583-4833 or nmrh_00@yahoo.com).

OLD BUSINESS

Trail Maintenance/Maps

Henry reported that the Alpine Sled was not going to be used and/or insured this year. He would like to either sell it for parts or ask Troy if he would like it returned to him.
Sharon Wilson will contact Troy for his decision.

The person who formally handled the printing and coordination of the Lakes Region maps has resigned.

We will contact Clubs associated with the maps and inquire if they are interested in continuing to support and fund the maintenance and printing of the maps. Copyright may be an issue. Nancy Hudson will contact Donna Bullerwell (formerly responsible for maps) for information regarding copyright, printing, etc.

Christmas in Harrison

Yard Sale: We need volunteers to help man the yard sale as well as making
food (chili, soup/chowder, coffee, etc. at the yard sale).

TV Raffle

There are still many tickets left to be sold for the TV raffle. If anyone needs more tickets please contact me. The tickets indicate the drawing will be held on Saturday, December 1, 2007 at Christmas in Harrison. Christmas in Harrison will be held the following weekend again this year so the drawing will be held on Saturday, December 8, 2007.
NEW BUSINESS

Radar Runs

Dates need to be set for our Radar Runs.

Sweatshirts/Tee-Shirts

A motion was made and passed to get a quote on for purchasing sweatshirts and tee-shirts and having the Club's logo embroidered on them.

Chris Searles obtain quote(s).

Advertising

A letter to local businesses will be drafted (S. Wilson) and forwarded to Nancy Hudson and Rose Farnum for review. This letter will invite local businesses to continue their sponsorship of the Club as well as inviting other businesses to join in the sponsorship.

A motion was made and passed to charge the following:

Club Brochure: $ 30/Year
Trail Maps: $100/Year

Meeting

Next scheduled meeting is set for Wednesday, November 14, 2007 at 7 p.m. at the Fire Station.
